Luzann graduated from East Tennessee State University and leads instruction for elementary, middle, and high school debate and public speaking for Climb the Mountain Debate. She is a member of the Sisters in Crime as well as the Guppies new writers group. She has a lifelong love of animals, and has been “owned” by corgis for many years. She participated in therapy animal work for seven years with her corgi, Oreo. When not writing, she’s drinking far too much tea, reading from a copious stack of cozies, or streaming an astonishing number of shows. Luzann’s first short story earned an honorable mention in Ellie Alexander’s 2022 rom-com writing contest. She has also received three 2nd place wins in the “It’s Shtory Time” writing contest series.
